Privacy Policy
This Privacy Policy explains how Verida Group LLC (“we”, “us”, “our”) collects and uses your personal data when you use the JobShaped résumé-building service (the “Service”).
1. Data controller
Verida Group LLC (Identification Number: 406517318), registered at Tbilisi, Georgia, B. Khmelnitski II Dead end, 29, is the controller of your personal data. Contact: contact@jobshaped.com.
2. What we collect
- Account data: your email address and login credentials.
- Profile data you provide: name, contact details, work experience, education, skills, links, and an optional profile photo.
- A résumé file you upload for importing: we keep a copy of the file itself for 24 hours, then delete it automatically. It is kept only so that we can see what went wrong if the import fails, which is the one problem we cannot diagnose without the original file. It is never used for anything else, and deleting your account removes it immediately.
- Job descriptions or job-posting URLs you submit for tailoring.
- Generated résumés and your edits to them.
- Purchase data: handled by our payment processor; we receive which pass you bought, its status, and its expiry date, not your full card details.
- Technical data: basic logs needed to operate and secure the Service, and your IP address, which we use to apply free-tier usage limits and prevent abuse. We store only a hashed form of the IP for this purpose.
- A strictly-necessary device cookie: a random identifier (not a browser fingerprint) that lets us apply the same free-tier usage limit to a returning browser even if it signs in from a different account or network. We store only a hashed form of this identifier.
- Analytics data: aggregate usage statistics collected through Google Analytics, such as which pages are viewed and where visitors arrive from. We use it to improve the Service, not to profile you for advertising.
- How you found us: if you accept optional cookies, we record the search engine, site, or campaign link that first brought you here, along with the first page you landed on, and we keep that against your account if you later create one. It tells us which of our efforts are worth continuing. If you decline, we record only what the sign-up page itself can see at that moment, which is usually nothing. Either way we store the referring website, not the page you were reading on it, and we never buy or receive information about you from data brokers.

3. Cookies
A cookie is a small text file that a website asks your browser to store and sends back on your next visit. The ones below are set by jobshaped.com unless stated otherwise. We run no advertising cookies, no retargeting pixels, and no social media trackers, and we never store your profile, your CVs, or the job descriptions you paste in a cookie.

These do not ask for consent, because without them you could not sign in and the free allowance could not be applied fairly.

Analytics and attribution, only if you accept
We use Google Analytics to understand how many people visit, which pages they read, and where the flow loses them, and we use one cookie of our own to remember which site or search first brought you here. These cookies are not set unless you accept them in the banner shown on your first visit. If you refuse, or simply ignore the banner, they are never written, and refusing after having accepted deletes the attribution cookie. We have not enabled Google Signals, advertising features, or ad remarketing.

Changing your mind, and cookies set elsewhere
You can change your analytics choice at any time using the “Cookie settings” link in the footer of every page. Your browser can also show, delete, and block cookies for this site, usually under Settings, then Privacy, and Google offers an opt-out add-on covering every site at tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout. How Google uses data from sites that use its services is described at policies.google.com/technologies/partner-sites.
Two steps hand you over to another company’s website, which then sets its own cookies under its own policy, and we cannot read them: paying, which happens on our payment processor’s pages rather than ours, and signing in with Google, which sends you to Google to authenticate before returning only your email address and name.
4. How we use it
We use your data to provide the Service: to store your profile, generate and store tailored résumés, process purchases, and maintain security. Our legal bases are the performance of our contract with you and our legitimate interest in operating a secure Service.
For analytics and for recording how you found us, the legal basis is your consent, given through the cookie banner and withdrawable at any time from the “Cookie settings” link in the footer. We use that information only in aggregate, to decide where to spend our effort. It never affects your price, your free allowance, what the Service does for you, or anything we send you, and it is not shared with advertisers.
5. AI processing
To generate a tailored résumé, your profile data and the job description you submit are sent securely to our AI provider, Google (Vertex AI), which processes them to produce the output. We do not use your data to train public AI models.
6. Sharing
We share data only with service providers who help us operate: our hosting provider, our AI provider (Google), our analytics provider (Google Analytics), and our payment processor (PayPro Global, the Merchant of Record for purchases). We do not sell your personal data.
7. Retention
We keep your data for as long as your account is active. You can delete your profile and résumés at any time, and deleting your account removes your associated personal data, subject to records we must keep by law.
Two things are kept on a shorter clock than your account. A résumé file you upload for importing is deleted 24 hours after you upload it, whether the import worked or not. Our record of the requests we send to our AI provider is deleted after 90 days.
8. Your rights
Depending on your location, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, or export your data, and to object to or restrict certain processing. To exercise these rights, contact us at contact@jobshaped.com.
9. Security
We use appropriate technical and organisational measures to protect your data, including restricted access to credentials and encryption in transit. No system is perfectly secure, but we work to keep your data safe.
10. Changes
We may update this policy from time to time. Material changes will be posted here with a new “last updated” date.
